Abu Dhabi, Al Wasl and Fujairah Clubs lead the Emirates Cup of Open Water

Dubai, February 15 / WAM / Abu Dhabi and Al Wasl and Fujairah clubs starred in the UAE Cup of Open Water for Junior and General Water, organized by the Dubai International Marine Sports Club yesterday at Jumeirah Open Beach, with the participation of more than 70 swimming and swimming.

The Abu Dhabi Club led the overall ranking of the public category with 70 points, after its swimmers in the second, third and fifth places, equal to Al -Wasl Club, which came in second place, with the difference of the results of his swimmers in the fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth places, while Al -Fujairah Club ranked third with 30 points, Thanks to the brilliance of Octavian Lubu, who won the first place in the individual race for this category.

At the junior level, Al -Fujairah Club scored the lead with 180 points, beating the second -placed Al Wasl Club with 140 points, while Abu Dhabi Club came third with 120 points.

The Fujairah team also continued its superiority in the 14-15 years and 16-17 years, advanced on Al-Wasl and Abu Dhabi.

The Emirates Swimming Federation honored the best swimmers in the championship, as Zac Gilius (Abu Dhabi) won the award for the best swimmer in the category of 14-15 years, while Omar Khadr (Al-Wasl) crowned the title of the best in the category of 16-17 years, while Octavian Lubu (Fujairah) won the Fujairah (Fujairah) Best Public Sston Award.
