المملكة: “The Ministry of Environment” ends the closure of 17 deserted wells

The office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al -Jumum Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry’s branch in Makkah Al -Mukarramah Region, has completed the work of filling 17 open wells that pose a danger to lives and property, as part of the project to fortify and fill abandoned and exposed wells.
As the filling work lasted for three consecutive days, after all measures were taken to ensure the closure of these wells in a safe way, in line with the Ministry’s efforts to reduce environmental risks and protect the population and livestock from possible accidents.
The Ministry’s office in Al -Jumum Governorate continues its field efforts through continuous supervisory tours to monitor and limit exposed and abundant wells, and to take the necessary regular measures to address them, in order to preserve lives and property and promote environmental safety in the province.
