150 companies reviewing investment opportunities at the Saudi Canadian Forum

The Saudi Chambers Union, in Riyadh, organized today the Saudi Canadian Business Forum for Infrastructure, with the participation of more than 150 companies and in the presence of representatives of government and private agencies and an ambassador to the Kingdom, Jean -Philip Linto.
The forum reviewed investment and partnership opportunities in a sector between the Kingdom and Canada in several vital sectors.

Saudi Canadian infrastructure forum

The Secretary -General of the Saudi Chambers Union, Walid bin Hamad Al -Arnian, stressed that the Kingdom seeks to enhance its relations with Canada in the infrastructure sector in light of the growth of the sector driven by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 projects.
And 42 initiatives in the National Transformation Program in the housing sectors, huge projects, and infrastructure in tourism, energy, communications and transportation networks.
He pointed out that it is expected that the Saudi infrastructure sector needs to invest a trillion dollars during the next ten years, which provides Canadian companies promising opportunities in this sector.

Saudi Canadian Business Council

The head of the Canadian Saudi Business Council, Mohammed bin Nasser Al Dulaim, praised the efforts and contributions of the Council in achieving many joint strategic achievements and projects.
Building bridges of cooperation between the two sides in various sectors, reviewing the developments of the economy and infrastructure in the Kingdom and the efforts of improving the investment and business environment.
It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Canada amounted to about 12 billion riyals in the year 2023, of which 5.5 billion riyals are Saudi exports, in light of expectations that will witness record heights during the coming years.
