The start of Sharjah Heritage Days in Hamriyah

Sharjah, February 18 / WAM / The activities of Sharjah Heritage Days were launched yesterday evening at the Heritage Village site in Hamriyah, in the presence of Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, head of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, senior officials and managers in government departments and institutions, in addition to a wide audience of the people of Hamriyah.
The activities embodied the nature of the wild environment in its various details, in addition to displaying a number of reeds and hair houses that include the holdings of the old Emirati house and its traditional furniture. The activities also reviewed a set of traditional hobbies and crafts such as falconry and reviewing visitors about the experience of sustainable garden and agricultural techniques in the fully, which reflects the association of agriculture with local heritage inheritance .
Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim said that the spread and care of the Emirati heritage has become a collective responsibility and honesty that the people of Hamriya holds, and that the successes achieved in preserving the heritage are only part of the performance of this trust and embodying the fulfillment of the homeland and its leadership.
