Ahmed Al -Muslimani, head of the National Media Authority in Egypt, spoke during the activities of the Saudi Media Forum 2025, about the most prominent challenges of media work.
He said: “There are specific professional controls for a person to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer, but there are no controls for the person to be a journalist.”
He explained: “The matter has become a kind of chaos, which began not to set controls for media work, then we entered the stage of artificial intelligence.”

The activities of the Saudi Media Forum 2025 were launched today, Wednesday, in the capital, Riyadh, carrying the title of Arab media capital, with the wide participation of media pioneers, decision makers and influencers from different countries of the world. The forum comes under the slogan “Media in a world formed”, to reflect the importance of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the global media scene.
The event, which is launched in the ministerial word of the Minister of Information, Salman Al -Dossary, is witnessing dialogue sessions and specialized workshops, aimed at strengthening strategic partnerships, discussing media challenges, and advancing innovation and technology in the media field.
