President of North Macedonia: "Document on Human Fraternity" A global model…and the UAE is a pioneer in spreading peace

Fujairah, 5 February / WAM / Her Excellency Mrs. Gordana Seljanovska Davkova, President of the Republic of North Macedonia, affirmed that the “Document on Human Fraternity” represents a pivotal global model for establishing a culture of dialogue and understanding among peoples, praising the pioneering role played by the United Arab Emirates in supporting humanitarian initiatives and consolidating the values of tolerance and peace at the international level.
This came during the official reception held by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in honor of Her Excellency in the Al Aqah Heritage Museum Village in the Emirate of Fujairah, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Timcho Mokunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, His Excellency Khalid Al Ghaith, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Human Fraternity, and a number of senior officials.
Her Excellency stressed that promoting the values of human brotherhood constitutes a basis for confronting global challenges and building a future based on coexistence and respect for diversity, noting the tireless efforts of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in spreading this culture and promoting dialogue among civilizations.
The President’s visit and celebration coincided with the anniversary of the signing of the “Document on Human Fraternity” in Abu Dhabi in 2019 by His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, a day that was adopted by the United Nations as International Day of Human Fraternity (February 4).
His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan stressed that this meeting reflects the importance of international relations based on dialogue and mutual respect, and embodies the role of diplomacy in supporting rapprochement between peoples, pointing out that the ceremony, which witnessed an authentic Emirati heritage atmosphere, aims to strengthen humanitarian messages based on building bridges of communication and world peace.
