Competitions start on Sunday
The first stage of the National Science and Mathematics Olympiad competitions is scheduled to begin next Sunday. "We rise"The General Administration of Education in the Riyadh region topped the number of students enrolled with 13,117 male and female students, followed by the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region with 9,565, then the Eastern Region with 7,925 male and female students.
The General Administration of Education in Jeddah Governorate came in fourth place in terms of the number of male and female students enrolled, followed by Medina with 7,902, then Tabuk with 6,589, Asir with 6,267, Taif with 6,014, then Al-Ahsa with 5,817, Jazan with 5,150, and Al-Qassim with 5,024 male and female students.
The number of students registered in the General Administration of Education in the Hail region reached 3,954 male and female students, followed by Najran with 3,873, then Al-Baha with 3,137, Al-Jawf with 3,068, and the Northern Borders with 3,003, while the Royal Commission in Yanbu registered 567 male and female students, and 480 in the Royal Commission in Jubail.
At the level of the six Olympiad disciplines, she explained "talent" The number of students enrolled in the mathematics major reached 29,052 male and female students.
While the number of those registered in informatics reached 23,238, 13,916 in biology, 12,446 in chemistry, 11,305 in physics, and 9,223 in science.

The Olympiad relies on schools nominating outstanding students who are able to represent them in this national competition, emphasizing the role of the school and the teacher in discovering and nurturing the gifted, as each school forms its teams in the targeted specializations to compete across multiple stages at the levels of governorates, cities, and public education departments, all the way to the national teams competition and the Olympics finals in the capital.
