The Colorado team wins the challenge of the rise of 160 floors in Burj Khalifa

Dubai, February 19 / WAM / Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, witnessed today, Wednesday, the second edition of the “Tower Challenge”, with the participation of 50 international teams in the category of “City Challenge”, as part of the sixth edition of the “Dubai 2025 Games”.
This global sporting event reflects the continuous expansion of “Dubai Games” as a prominent activity on the international sport agenda, as it continues to enhance Dubai’s position as a leading destination to host major championships.
The Colorado team from the United States of America managed to reach the summit of Burj Khalifa in a time of 31 minutes and 13 seconds, while the Ovido city team from Spain arrived in 31 minutes and 43 seconds, while the Cotena Houra city team from the Czech Republic achieved a time of 31 minutes and 48 seconds.
The challenge witnessed a strong competition between the participating teams, which raced to rise 160 floors via the tower stairs, with weights of 10 kilograms for men and 7 kilograms for women, in a test that combines physical strength and mental endurance, in an effort to score additional points before the start of the main competitions of “Dubai Games 2025 “in” Dubai Festival City “, which begins tomorrow, Thursday, and will continue until February 23.
The sixth edition of the “Dubai Games” is witnessing a record participation with the competition of 50 teams in the category of “City Challenge” from all over the world.
Marwan bin Issa, director of “Dubai Games”, stressed that the great international interaction with the “City Challenge” this year reflects the position that the championship reached on the global sports arena.
