Unprecedented floods in the American “Kentucky”

The search teams in the American Kentucky carried out more than 1,000 rescue missions in the aftermath of unprecedented floods that affected almost every Kentucky, and many of the surrounding states, since the beginning of the week, as some parts of the state fell on rain that exceeded 20 centimeters.

The governor of the state, Andy Bashir, said that hundreds of residents were displaced from the flood areas, while more than 14 thousand homes and company without electricity, and 17 thousand other homes without water.

Bashir added in a press conference: “We are still in the search and rescue phase in this emergency, we still have different tasks, and there are people in danger,” Bashir added in a press conference.

The ruler explained that 11 were killed, including nine, who died as a result of flood water and two due to road accidents.

The authorities deployed forces from the National Guard in Kentucky, with the help of flying crews from Indiana and Tennessee, and also participated in the o’clock and rescue teams from Ohio, Indiana and Tenisi.
