IDEX 2025..the understanding between a balance of quality and conformity and"Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity"
Abu Dhabi, February 20 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Quality and Construction Council and a “balance of quality and matching” signed a memorandum of understanding today at the Pavilion of the Balance Council at the International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2025”.
The memo was signed by His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Al Yazidi, Secretary -General of the Acting Abu Dhabi Quality and Construction Council, and Dr. Khaled Mohamed Al Kaabi, CEO of “Balance of Quality and Construction”, in the presence of a number of officials of both sides.
The memo aims to enhance scientific and technical cooperation, expand relations between the two parties, exchange knowledge and experiences in the fields of scientific, industrial and legal standards, in addition to technical regulations and standards and evaluate conformity with products, operations and services. It also includes cooperation in the fields of efficiency testing and laboratory comparisons, and accreditation, as well as research and training, and organizing workshops and specialized courses.
His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Al Yazidi, Secretary -General of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with a balance of quality and matching is a strategic step towards enhancing the quality of products and services provided in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and that cooperation and partnership between us is an essential pillar to achieve common goals in developing standards and practices that guarantee Safety and efficiency in the areas of the work of both parties, and we look forward to work together to achieve concrete results It contributes to raising the level of quality and improving services in various sectors, and helps in enhancing the capabilities of technical cadres and enhancing knowledge of both parties through exchanging experiences and advancing sustainable development in the country.
For his part, Dr. Khaled Mohamed Al -Kaabi said that a “balance of quality and conformity” is the national initiative of the UAE dedicated to testing and adopting products and services in accordance with local and international standards, in a way that supports the defense and security industry in coordination with strategic partners.
He added: Through this cooperation, we aim to develop advanced technologies through innovative operating programs, and to create a supportive infrastructure that contributes to enhancing rehabilitation tests, accelerating operations, and improving efficiency in the defensive manufacturing sector, which enhances the competitiveness of the UAE in this field.
