Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council organizes an awareness session for women in "Ghost"
Fujairah, February 20 / WAM / The Council of Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, in cooperation with the Fujairah Foundation for District Development, and within the initiative of the community councils affiliated with the institution, organized a health awareness session for women on “Breast Cancer Prevention”, in the Joop Region Council in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The lecture, Dr. Asmaa Saeed Al -Yamahi, presented the issue of breast cancer prevention – steps towards a healthy life, noting the importance of early detection of breast cancer, treating its symptoms, and ways to prevent it, stressing the importance of conducting early periodic examinations to detect breast cancer.
The session also discussed the efforts of the health sector in the UAE in organizing programs and initiatives that enhance health awareness among members of society.
Dr. Ali bin Naea Al -Tunaiji, Director of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, affirmed the commitment of the Council to enhance health awareness among members of society in different age groups, through targeted community initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life in various fields, and this comes in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi , Crown Prince of Fujairah, supporting all sectors in the country, including the health care sector, as a major priority.
