Festival activities start "Made in Russia" Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, February 21/ WAM/ The activities of the “Made in Russia” festival were launched in Abu Dhabi, which is organized by the Russian Export Center in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of efforts to enhance trade cooperation between the UAE and the Russian Federation.

Veronica Nikishina, Director General of the Russian Export Center, explained that Abu Dhabi hosts the festival after the success of its first version held in China and received wide attention from international partners at that time and today is organized in the UAE, which is a major commercial partner for Russia Federalism in addition to being a global center for trade and re -export .

Nikishina said that Russia has promising export capabilities that have not been completely invested, and the UAE is a strategic gateway to the markets of the Gulf states and Africa, and we have witnessed a remarkable growth in demand for Russian products, indicating a noticeable increase in the volume of trade exchange between Russia and the UAE during the past few years, which reflects an increasing interest in developing Commercial partnerships between the two countries.

The organization of the festival comes in the wake of the successful participation of Russian companies at the “GULFOOD” exhibition, one of the most prominent international events in the food and beverage sector, where 115 Russian companies participated in its last session in Dubai.

The festival in Abu Dhabi reviews a variety of Russian products, including foodstuffs such as snacks, dairy products, children’s food, canned, along with cosmetics, souvenirs, clothes, and industrial products.

In addition to commercial offers, the festival includes an integrated program of bilateral events and meetings, where Russian companies are holding talks with distributors and retailers representatives, with the aim of developing exports and concluding commercial contracts with partners in the Emirates and neighboring markets.

The event is not only limited to the economic side, but also provides a rich cultural experience for visitors and residents in Abu Dhabi and includes a show of “Al -Mizini” art, one of the oldest folk arts in northern Russia.

Cooking workshops will also be organized that allow the attendees to learn to prepare Russian and Arabic dishes using Russian products, as well as tasting authentic Russian foods and enjoying artistic performances offered by Russian folkloric groups.
