The Security Council approves an American decision calling for an end to the war in Ukraine
On Monday, the UN Security Council approved an American decision calling for an end to the war in Ukraine without mentioning the Russian aggression.
The result of the vote in the 15 -member council came with 10 supporters without opposition, with 5 countries abstaining from the vote.
Earlier on Monday, the United Nations General Assembly rejected the US resolution formulated by the United States, which was not approved until its amendment to confirm that the conflict was the result of a “comprehensive invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
