Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidency Bureau and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety, the Supreme Committee organized for the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Agricultural Excellence Award has honored 55 winners in its third session, which It was erected under the slogan “A farmer and educator with a sustainable vision.”

The honoring ceremony, which was held at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, witnessed the presence of Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al -Dahhak, Minister of Climate Change and IB, Dr. Mugher Khamis Al Khaili, Head of the Community Development Department – Abu Dhabi, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and Dr. Tariq Al -Amri, Director General of the Authority Abu Dhabi for Agriculture and Food Safety, Moza Suhail Al Muhairi, Chair of the Supreme Committee Organizing the award , Along with a number of senior officials, personalities, media representatives, and influencers.

In her speech during the ceremony, Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al -Dahhak expressed great thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, for his continuous support for the agricultural sector, and his belief in the importance of this sector in achieving sustainable development and promoting food security.

She appreciated the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the award, his unlimited support for agriculture and sustainability, and his constant encouragement of farmers and educators to excellence and innovation.

“Today we are celebrating the honoring of the winners of this award, which embodies an ambitious vision to support and motivate farmers, livestock educators and commercial farms, for adopting the best agricultural practices and the latest technology,” she said.

She added that the third session witnessed a great development in the number and quality of the participants, as more than 451 participants competed in various categories, in addition to a wide participation in the accompanying festivals and competitions that attracted thousands of visitors and those interested in agriculture and sustainability.

Al -Dahhak indicated that the award is not just a honoring platform, but rather is part of a comprehensive national strategy vision aimed at enhancing food security and agricultural sustainability, in line with the National Food Security Strategy 2051, and the Emirates Climate Neutral strategy 2050.

She stressed the importance of stimulating innovation and attracting youth to the agricultural sector, praising the prominent role that farmers and innovators play in achieving national goals in the areas of the environment and sustainability, rationalizing the consumption of water resources, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting biological diversity.

At the end of her speech, Al -Dahhak congratulated all the winners of this session, confirming the participants who were not lucky that the mere participation in this award is an achievement in itself and a step towards more success and excellence in the future, praising the bodies supporting the award, foremost of which is the Presidential Court and the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety And everyone who contributed to the consolidation of its position.

For its part, Moza Suhail Al -Muhairi confirmed that the award has become a leading national platform to honor the distinguished in the agricultural sector, and motivate them to creativity and innovation, noting that the third session witnessed an unprecedented turnout with the participation of 451 contestants in 4 main categories and 13 sub -categories.

She added that this session was distinguished by the diversity and quality of the posts, as it underwent accurate evaluation stages by specialized committees, which included field visits to ensure the selection of the winners according to the highest standards .

Moza indicated that the award, since its inception, achieved great success, as it attracted in its first and second sessions 676 participants, and resulted in honoring 107 winners with total prizes of 16.7 million dirhams, which reflects its positive impact on promoting agricultural excellence.

She emphasized that the higher organizing committee of the award will work to promote the winners and highlight their achievements, with the aim of transferring knowledge and exchanging experiences on best practices and modern agricultural methods in a way that contributes to achieving agricultural sustainability and enhancing food security at the local and regional levels, and the award will continue its leading role in stimulating innovation and excellence in the fields of agriculture Plant and animal, which enhances the competitiveness of the agricultural sector and supports the achievement of development Sustainable economic.

Besides, the award will seek to enhance cooperation between farmers, researchers and those interested in the agricultural sector, by organizing scientific workshops and seminars aimed at spreading awareness of the importance of modern technology in agriculture.

It will also encourage the adoption of smart and innovative solutions that contribute to increasing productivity and improving the quality of crops, while preserving natural resources and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.

On the results of the award winners, he won first place in the category of the best farm for exposed agriculture Faisal Salem Al -Nuaimi, Majid Muhair Al -Ketbi won the second place, and Salem Issa Al Mazrouei won the third place, while Saeed Muhair Al -Ketbi won the first place in the category of the best farm for agriculture in protected homes, and Khamis Matar came Al -Mansouri in second place, followed by Hamid Ahmed Al -Hamid in third place, and Muhammad Al -Hamli fought in fourth place , And Khamis Obaid Hamrien Al -Dhahiri in fifth place.

As for the category of the best fruit production farm, he won the first place, Muhammad Shamal Al -Maamari, Khalaf Hamid Al -Mutai’i in the second place, and Rashid Abdullah Al -Murr in the third place, and Sulayih Matar Al -Mansouri in the fourth place, and Hadd Muhammad Al -Khaili in the fifth place.

In the category of the best organic farm, Sultan Saeed Al Shamsi ranked first, while Hilal Khamis Al -Muraikhi came in second place, Salah Salem Al Shamsi in third place, and Issa Mohamed Al -Dabbous in fourth place.

In the productive category of Al -Azab, Raya Salem Ali Al -Lamki won first place, followed by Ghanem Sultan Al -Suwaidi in second place, and Wael Sakhr Ali Al -Musabi in third place, and Salmin Faraj Al -Kathiri in fourth place, and Noura Khalifa Saeed Al -Jabri in fifth place.

In the context of supporting emerging agricultural projects, the National Fish farm ranked first in the category of small producers, while Marah Al -Nayfat farm for sheep raising came in second place, and the drugs to raise sheep in third place, and Marhab to raise sheep in fourth place, and Ali Al Kaabi farm selling sheep in the center Fifth.

As for the category of the best breeder for honey, he won first place Muhammad Haddam Muhammad Al -Nuaimi, Muhammad Hassan Ali Al -Zaabi in the second place, Badr Butti Salem Al -Shamsi in the third place, and the successor of Saif Darwish Al -Ketbi in the fourth place, and Abdullah Ahmed Al -Hammadi, in the fifth place.

Within the aquatic neighborhoods category, Galf Aqua Kalcher won first place, Akry Oceanic in second place, and the Capital Agricultural production farm in third place.
As for the category of plant agricultural innovation and animal production, Sultan Muhammad Ghadeer Al Mazrouei ranked first, followed by Rashid Salim Rashid Al Ketbi in second place, and Muhammad Shuaib Al Hammadi in third place, and Mubarak Ali Al -Braiki is handed over in fourth place, and Fahim Salem Jassim Al Nuaimi is in fifth place .

In the category of commercial plant farms, Armila Faris won first place, while Emirz Pio Farm ranked first in the category of commercial animal production farms and the Rumah Cows Corporation won second place.

The winners were also honored in the category of the best distinguished farm, as the cloth of Saif Al Mazrouei ranked first, Maryam Khadim Al Mazrouei came in second place, Salima Sultan Al Shamsi in third place, and Roya Salem Al Darai in fourth place, and Lamia Ali Al -Saqal in fifth place.

As for the category of the best distinguished nanny, Salman Salman Al -Hinai won first place, Hoda Mubarak Mohammed Al Balushi in second place, Maryam Mohammed Rashid Al -Maqbali in third place, Maryam Mohammed Ghafan Al -Jabri in fourth place, and Hadram Khamis Saeed in the fifth place.
