المملكة: “Khulais Environment” carries out a hypothesis experience for a drowned in the Marwani Dam

The Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Khulais Governorate implemented a hypothetical experience for drowning a person in the Al -Marwani Dam Basin, in cooperation with the General Irrigation Corporation and the Civil Defense Department in the governorate, with the aim of raising readiness and enhancing coordination between the competent authorities in dealing with emergency accidents.
Where a scenario to simulate the drowning of a person was implemented in the dam storage, rescue teams used survival boats to save him, with the use of sirens in the dam to ensure their efficiency in warning of any possible emergency.

High readiness

The readiness of the surveillance and control room was also prepared to ensure the effectiveness and monitoring of the dam around the clock, as well as ensuring that the company operating the dam’s preparations, and the speed of the response of the field teams and the relevant authorities in such cases.
The implementation of this hypothesis comes within the framework of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture’s keenness to ensure the highest safety standards in water installations, and the continuous coordination between the relevant authorities for rapid and effective dealing with any emergency, in order to preserve lives and property.
