المملكة: It covers 14 thousand families .. The launch of a healthy survey to monitor the behavior of society and detect diseases
The ministry explained that the survey targets a representative sample of citizens and residents covering more than 14 thousand families and individuals, distributed in 13 administrative areas through health communities in various regions of the Kingdom, through questionnaires that include demographic information, health condition, and risk factors, in addition to data about the health system.
National priorities
The launch of this survey comes within the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve the targets of Vision 2030, especially related to improving the quality of life, raising the efficiency of the public health system, and determining national priorities in the health sector.
It also aims to monitor general healthy patterns and behaviors, and measure progress in indicators of sustainable development goals, as well as support early detection programs for chronic diseases and enhance healthy behavioral awareness.
The Ministry of Health stressed that the expected results of the survey will contribute to the development of future health policies, and to meet the needs of society in a more accurate and effective way, calling on all families and individuals covered in the sample to cooperation and active participation with survey teams during field visits, because of this importance in the success of the project and achieving its national goals.
