I am satisfied with dates at breakfast … and the suhoor is my main meal

The former national team player and the current Dibba club player, Tariq Ahmed, revealed that he does not prefer to eat much during breakfast in the blessed month of Ramadan, and that his food is limited to eating soup and dates, so that he does not burden himself before going to daily sports training, so that he can benefit from them in a distinctive way, which is a diet that he used to throughout his sporting career.

He told «Emirates Today»: “The suhoor is my main meal in Ramadan, that is, after the completion of the training sessions or official matches, and usually consists of rice, meat and salads of all kinds, bread and any type of food that includes high carbohydrates with regular calories.”

He added: “I love eating that provides me with good energy, and does not disrupt my exercise of all kinds, while I eat something simple before dawn prayer, and is often banana fruit.”

Tariq Ahmed explained: “I am keen to eat breakfast in the parents’ house, and I focus a lot on eating dates, which is my favorite and essential food, as it has high calories. ”He explained that he avoids excessive eating, despite his mother’s insistence to eat a lot for his need for energy before exercising.

He continued: «It is also keen to visit the family and relatives during the vacation after the matches, and to communicate by phone with those close to the players, including the two players Ahmed Ibrahim Al -Yassi, Mohamed Fawzi and others, and most of them are Al -Nasr club players and his fans.

On the sporting level and competing with his team Dibba to climb to the ranks of professional clubs next season, Tariq Ahmed said: “Ramadan will witness strong competitions in the first division, as Dibba will play two important matches with Al Dhafra and United, which are two strong and competitors, and I look forward to supporting my team with the best possible.”

He continued: “The two matches are very important, but they are not decisive in ascending, because the competition will witness strong matches between the teams that compete to ascend or affect it, which are Dibba, Al -Dahra, Fujairah, Al -Arabi, United and the UAE.”

Tariq Ahmed wished to get a chance to perform the Umrah obligatory in the last ten days, in the event that things were available, as he put it.

. I avoid excessive eating despite my mother’s urgency. I love eating that provides me with good energy.
