Supreme Federal": Rejection of appeals submitted by those convicted in the case of “justice and dignity” and supporting the ruling

Abu Dhabi, March 4 / WAM / The State Security Department of the Federal Supreme Court decided at its session today, the appeals submitted by those convicted in the case known medialy as the terrorist “Justice and Dignity Organization” case refused, and support the ruling issued by the Abu Dhabi Federal Appeal Court – State Security Department. It also decided to postpone the consideration of the appeal submitted by the Attorney General to the next April 8 session.

The Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeal – State Security Department had convicted the defendants in the case registered No. 452 of 2023, who numbered (59) accused, where they sentenced (53) accused of leaders and members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, and (6) companies with penalties ranging from life imprisonment and a fine of twenty million dirhams.

With regard to the appeal submitted by the Attorney General on the ruling issued to expire the criminal case of (24) defendants for cooperation crimes and supply the terrorist “call for reform” with money, the State Security Department of the Federal Supreme Court decided to appeal submitted by the Public Prosecutor with an independent number and postpone to the next April 8 session to consider the appeal.
