“Identity and Foreigners Affairs” and “Higher Legislation” in Dubai to enhance institutional cooperation

The General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding with the Supreme Committee for Legislation in the Emirate of Dubai, with the aim of enhancing institutional cooperation and exchanging legal knowledge, in line with the vision of the future emirate and rational governance strategies.
The memorandum signed, in the presence of General Mohamed Ahmed Al -Marri, Director General of Administration, and Ahmed Saeed bin Mazhar Al Muhairi, Secretary -General of the Committee, where the Memorandum of Understanding is a strategic step towards integrating efforts in the legal and legislative fields, developing policies and institutional procedures, and organizing joint initiatives to enhance legislative awareness and consolidate the principles of governance.
The memo focuses on providing technical and consulting support in government excellence, implementing specialized training programs, and taking advantage of digital solutions and artificial intelligence, to raise the efficiency of institutional performance and improve government services.
The Al -Marri team stressed that the signing of the memo reflects the administration’s commitment to enhance the government work environment and consolidate the culture of legal compliance. Cooperation with the committee supports Dubai’s efforts in developing organizational policies and enhancing the quality of government performance, in order to enhance its global leadership in governance and institutional innovation.
Al -Muhairi explained that the partnership between the two sides will contribute to enriching legislative knowledge and enhancing institutional efficiency. Stressing the committee’s commitment to continuing to establish the pillars of a flexible and comprehensive legislative system that supports the sustainable development process in Dubai.
The memo aims to enhance the mechanisms of exchanging knowledge, apply best practices, and establish a more integrated and flexible government business model, achieving the strategic goals of the emirate in legislation and institutional governance.
