Dubai Police controls fans using a “marine distress” in a football match

Dubai police seized two football fans using the “totalitarian” red distress signals that are used to seek distress while sailing, while they were in a football match, which posed a great risk and a threat to those in the vicinity of the sports facility.

The General Command of Dubai Police stressed the masses to adhere to Federal Law No. 8 of 2014 regarding the security of sports facilities and events, warning against using any dangerous materials, fireworks or materials with ignition in the stadiums, because of the danger they pose to the lives of fans, players and administrators, and all those in the vicinity of sports facilities.

The Assistant Commander -in -Chief for Operations Affairs of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Ali Al -Ghaithi, confirmed the readiness of the police officers in various specialties, including special guards, tasks, traffic patrols, and treachery, to secure players, administrators and the public in all matches, and deal firmly with any breach of the security of the stadiums.

He pointed out that Dubai Police will deter all those who go out of the law, in order to ensure the safety and security of the stadiums, pointing out that the work teams are doing their best to secure the stadiums and the public from home and abroad, in addition to securing vehicles, and providing all the required services before and during the course of the matches and after their completion.
