UAE is implementing an urgent medical evacuation of 155 injured and patients from Gaza, accompanied by their relatives

The UAE, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, has implemented a new evacuation trip that included 155 injured and patient with their relatives from the Gaza Strip, through Ramon Airport in Israel and through the Karam Abu Salem crossing, bringing the total number so far to 2785 patients and facilities for the UAE and provided them with treatment care since the start of the crisis.

This new batch of urgent medical evacuation operations comes within the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, by providing treatment for 1,000 Palestinian children from the wounded and 1,000 children with cancer patients, and providing the necessary health care to them in various hospitals of the country, in continuation of the efforts of the leading UAE to alleviate the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip, and reduce the negative repercussions of this crisis Critical humanity.

In this context, His Excellency Sultan Mohamed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organizations, Vice President of the Emirates Agency for International Aid, stressed the continuous humanitarian response to the UAE to transport the wounded and injured civilians in the Gaza Strip urgently, within the framework of the fixed position and historical support of the Palestinian people in all circumstances and times, based on the humanitarian responsibility of the state towards providing immediate aid and supporting stability and mitigating the affected peoples due to wars And conflicts.

His Excellency explained that the Emirati medical work teams transferred critical cases from the wounded and injured to the various hospitals of the country in Abu Dhabi, while other cases were transferred with their families to their residence to receive the necessary medical care in the Humanitarian City under the supervision of a specialized medical staff, noting that the UAE provides various medical, educational and cultural services to the injured and patients and their families helps a lot in alleviating the catastrophic effects of the humanitarian crisis Currently that patients, children, the elderly and women suffer from in the Gaza Strip.

It should be noted that since the outbreak of the crisis, the UAE has continued its leading humanitarian efforts and endeavors in cooperation with the United Nations organizations and international partners to reduce the catastrophic repercussions of the current crisis, and to alleviate the humanitarian suffering facing the residents of the Gaza Strip, as the state provided health care services, medicines and necessary medical supplies in the floating hospital off the coast of the city of Al -Arish in Egypt, in addition to the services of the centered field hospital The southern Gaza Strip, along with the continuous medical evacuation operations within the urgent humanitarian response plans
