المملكة: With the participation of 223 thousand people .. Deaf health recorded 2 billion steps within five days

The Deaf Campaign in Health launched by the Holding Company in cooperation with its twentieth health communities since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH, has recorded an exceptional achievement by achieving more than two billion steps within only five days, with the participation of exceeding 223 thousand people in the daily walking challenge that aims to reach eight thousand steps per day.

Promote healthy lifestyles

This campaign comes within the framework of the national efforts aimed at enhancing healthy lifestyles during the holy month, by providing a “deaf -health” package, which includes conducting eight periodic laboratory tests, as well as spreading awareness of health services available through primary care centers, and motivating society to exercise regularly, while emphasizing the importance of healthy sleep at a rate of at least eight hours per day to maintain public health.

Conditions of participation

It is required to participate in the Ramadan walking challenge within the “Deaf Health” campaign to link the data with the “Sahiti” application, where the steps are calculated automatically, with the need to share a picture from the application screen daily through the challenge page on the official website of the Holding Holding until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The campaign also provides the participants with the opportunity to conduct a periodic health examination by visiting the initial care centers, where the results of laboratory analyzes can be obtained within 24 hours through the “Sahiti” application, or by reviewing the family doctor in health centers, in addition to the possibility of reserving a virtual appointment through virtual clinics.
These examinations aim to ensure the safety of individuals, and to follow their health condition during and after the holy month, in a way that contributes to early detection of diseases and providing appropriate treatment, in order to enhance the principle of prevention before treatment.
