Abdullah bin Zayed meets the French Armed Forces Minister and Secretary of the Elysee Palace

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today, Sebastian Lecorno, Minister of the French Armed Forces, as part of his visit to His Highness to Paris.
An official reception ceremony took place for His Highness upon his arrival at the headquarters of the French Ministry of Armed Forces, where the national peace was played for both the UAE and the French Republic and a few of the honor guards lined up to His Highness.
After that, His Highness held a joint meeting with Sebastian Lecorno, during which strategic relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in the defensive fields were discussed.
The two sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on them.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexis Kohler, also met the Secretary -General of the Elysee Palace, as part of the work visit of His Highness to Paris.
During the meeting, which was held today, historical and strategic relations between the UAE and France were discussed and ways to enhance them to serve the mutual interests of the two countries and enhance the prosperity and prosperity of their people.
The two sides also discussed the outcomes of the work visit by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to Paris last February, and its important role in strengthening the frameworks of cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries at various levels.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the depth of strategic relations between the UAE and the French Republic, which is based on a long history of confidence, mutual respect and common interests, and supports the aspirations of the two countries towards achieving sustainable development and prosperity.
His Highness expressed his pride in visiting France, stressing the continuation of work with the French partners to provide the ideal climate to support the growth of this distinguished relationship and expand areas of cooperation in a way that supports sustainable development plans in the two countries.
His Highness and Alexis Kohler also discussed during the meeting the overall regional and international issues of common concern, and exchanged views on them.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, Noura bint Muhammad Al Kaabi, Minister of State, Saeed Mubarak Al -Hajri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs, Fahd Saeed Al -Raqbani, the country’s ambassador to the Republic of France, and Omar Saif Ghobash, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the non -resident state ambassador to the Vatican.
