During the field rounds carried out by the health observers, the municipality of Al -Bayda Governorate seized 850 kilograms of unknown food in one of the shops, which are not compatible with the approved health requirements to ensure the safety of consumers.

For his part, the mayor of Al -Bayda Governorate, Eng. Musaed Al -Qahtani, explained that the seized materials were immediately destroyed by the competent teams, and the list of municipal penalties and fines were applied against the violators.
He said that these tours come within the framework of the continuous efforts to protect public health, and to ensure the commitment of all food facilities to health standards.
He added that the municipality is carrying out continuous control tours on food stores to ensure that there are no violating foodstuffs that may pose a risk to consumer health.
He noted that any food facility in which violations will be seized, which will be dealt with according to the applicable regulations and regulations, while tightening procedures against violators.
