“The Children of Al -Freij” instilled in us the love of prayer and reading the Qur’an

Children participating in the “Ayal Al -Freij” initiative expressed their great happiness with the initiative, in which they instilled the love of prayer and perseverance in reading the Holy Qur’an during the blessed month of Ramadan, in addition to its effective contribution to strengthening ties between the people of one neighborhood.
The head of the “Ayal Al -Freij” initiative team in the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Action in Dubai, Ahmed Al -Janahi, confirmed that the initiative witnessed a great turnout from the participants, and has so far distributed more than 6000 “passport” for the Al -Freij to document their commitment to perform the prayer in the mosques accompanied For their efforts.
Al -Janahi told «Emirates Today» that the “department” seeks to expand the scope of the “Al -Freij” initiative to include all the mosques of the emirate, and pointed to the selection of 200 mosques in 16 “Freeja” in the Emirate of Dubai for this initiative, as it is located in residential neighborhoods close to families and children from Ferjan Deira to Ferjan Bur Dubai, and the initiative also included mosques in other areas of the city, such as Habab, Margham and Marmum, along with the village of Hatta.
Al -Janahi explained that the initiative targets children from the age of six years to 14 years, and aims mainly to motivate them to perform Tarawih prayers in the mosque throughout the holy month of Ramadan, and includes accompanying activities after the end of the prayer to encourage the continuation of going to the mosque, including “the rocking ice cream car”, and the distribution of sweets, along with gifts of gifts in partnership with different parties, as well Drinks and foods, events are held in three mosques per day for 20 days during the holy month, and they were divided according to the various areas in Dubai.
He emphasized that the initiative requires a set of conditions for the participants to do, first receiving a special passport from the initiative from the nearest accredited mosque, then registration by scanning the quick response code found in the last newspaper of the passport, and writing the reference number for registration on the first page, and the participating children must adhere to the Emirati uniform for both boys and girls.

Regarding the participation in “Ayal Al -Freij”, the child Issa Al -Muhairi stated that the initiative contributed to instilling the love of prayer in his heart, indicating that the effectiveness of the “stamping passport” after Tarawih prayer greatly encouraged him to adhere to its performance on a daily basis during the holy month.
