Sharjah, March 14 / WAM / Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Charitable Society, affirmed that the Emirati Children’s Day reflects the vision of the wise leadership and its keenness to ensure the rights of children and provide an ideal environment for their growth and development, noting that the UAE has put the child at the top of its interests through the enactment of legislation and the launch of initiatives that enhance its well -being and its empowerment.

Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi said, in a statement on this occasion, that interest in the child is an investment in the future, noting that the association continues its commitment to supporting needy children through programs and initiatives that provide them with health and educational care that contributes to improving the quality of their lives and ensuring a bright future for them in addition to its support for education projects, as it provides academic assistance to students of needy families, in order to enhance the association’s role in promoting sustainable development and achieving social stability.

He pointed out that the association is also working on implementing humanitarian projects addressed to children that includes providing basic needs and improving livelihoods for needy families based on their social responsibility and its role in promoting social solidarity, calling for promoting the culture of child protection, empowerment and effective participation in humanitarian initiatives that contribute to achieving its well -being in line with the UAE’s vision in building an integrated society that provides children with a environment full of safety, education and care.
