The UAE welcomes the achievement of Armenia and Azerbaijan, peace negotiations between them

The UAE welcomed the declaration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, their achievement of peace negotiations between them, and expressed its hope that this historical step will establish bridges of communication, dialogue and stability, and achieve the development of the people of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and in the Caucasus in general.

Lana Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, noted that the UAE supports everything that is decided by the two friendly countries in order to enhance security and peace at the regional and international levels, and to consolidate a settlement that opens a page of sustainable and constructive cooperation.

Nusseibeh emphasized that the UAE has strong relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, and is looking to enhance the prospects for cooperation between them in a way that achieves common interests.
