The “Al-Tadawi 1” team defeated the “Dean” team supported by the Italian Badova team players (3-0), by (25-18, 25-22 and 25-13).

With this victory, the “Al -Tadawi 1” team confirmed its worth and strength in the Nad Al -Sheba Sports Course competitions, strengthening its hopes in achieving the title after its group was topped with the full mark of two games.

In the second match, the Zabeel team, which depends on the French team of Toulouse, defeated the HFH team, which includes the players of the Al-Ahly Dubai UAE youth team, 3-1, (27-25, 25-17, 22-25, and 25-22).

The Zabeel team (the defending holder) benefited from its mistakes that caused him the loss in the previous match against Al -Tadawi 1, to renew its hopes of reaching the semi -finals and maintaining its title last season.

For his part, French coach, Patrick Devlos, who leads the Zabeel team in volleyball competitions, confirmed that “the Nad Al -Sheba tournament is an exceptional event on the technical and organizational levels, which is the first time that I see like events in the Middle East region, and in that high quality organizational.”

Davos told «Emirates Today»: “This is the first time that I came to Dubai, to participate in the majority of Toulouse players in the Nad Al -Sheba course competitions with the Zabeel team, and in fact everything was a surprise to me, whether organizationally or technical, to the point that we lost the first match of the Tadawi 1 team, which includes a group of Russian players, and in fact they surpassed us from the physical side, and this gave them the victory. 1-3.

He added: «In general, this session represents for me and the players of the Toulouse team participating in the Nad Al -Sheba tournament, a strong preparation for the French League, due to the stopping of the league in that period there, and the timing of our participation in the Dubai tournament came at an ideal time to maintain the readiness of our players.

And about his expectations for the team that can be crowned with the title after the end of two rounds of the championship, the French coach said: “This is very difficult, you cannot expect the champion even after the end of the semi -finals matches, the champion will only be determined with the final whistle of the final, the eight teams are strong, but very strong, and this may make all the doors open to all the possibilities.”
