المملكة: Mint medical insurance in all government health facilities starting in July

The Health Insurance Council obliged all government health facilities to contract with insurance companies, as of the first of July 2025.
This decision comes within the framework of the hard council seeking to provide health insurance services in all health facilities, whether civil or governmental, with the aim of upgrading the level of services provided to the beneficiaries of insurance.
The council pointed out that this procedure includes obliging all governmental government agencies to adhere to what was stated in the procedures and guideline contracting contract in harmony with the guide.

Control powers

The Council affirmed that it will exercise its supervisory powers to verify the compliance of government health facilities for this new organization, in a manner that ensures its application optimally.
The Health Insurance Council, an independent government agency with a legal personality, aims to oversee the implementation of the cooperative health insurance system, the governance and regulation of the private health insurance sector.
