"National Human Rights" It organizes a auxiliary worker awareness workshop

Abu Dhabi, March 17/ WAM/ The National Authority for Human Rights organized its first awareness workshop in one of the recruitment centers for auxiliary employment in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

The workshop comes within the framework of the committee’s continuous efforts to enhance human rights and consolidate the culture of protecting the rights of auxiliary labor, and within a series of initiatives aimed at introducing the authority and its powers and cooperation with the relevant authorities to ensure a fair work environment.
The awareness workshop presented His Excellency Dr. Saeed Al -Ghafli, Secretary -General of the National Authority for Human Rights, where he reviewed the authority’s role in protecting and promoting human rights in the state, while highlighting the Federal Law No. (12) of 2021 regarding the establishment of the National Human Rights Authority, its main competencies, and the strategic directives that are based on it in achieving its goals.
His Excellency dealt with the human rights programs that the authority is working on, which aims to enhance the rights of individuals in various sectors, while emphasizing the importance of the role of government and private institutions in supporting these efforts to ensure employment rights, and to achieve a work environment that is in line with international standards and national legislation.
The workshop also discussed the importance of awareness training on auxiliary labor rights, and the role of educational programs in raising awareness among workers and employers alike, to ensure a work environment based on justice and human dignity.

His Excellency Dr. Saeed Al -Ghafli stressed the importance of continuous cooperation between the authority and the various concerned authorities to enhance the rights of auxiliary labor, noting that such workshops are an essential step in raising the level of awareness and spreading the culture of national human rights, which aims to enhance and protect the rights of all individuals in society.
