"Modern pentathlon" The Etihad Laser Run Championship concludes

Sharjah, 2 March / WAM / The Emirates Modern Pentathlon Federation concluded the Federation Laser Run Championship, “Running and Shooting with a Laser Pistol”, at the Al Bataeh Club Stadium in Sharjah, with the participation of the Maliha, Al Bataeh, and Kalba clubs, in addition to the Federation players from the gifted centers at Al Warqa School in Dubai, with the participation of players from various age levels, starting from under 9 years old to the Masters category “over 40 years old.”
The first place in the general individual stage was won by player Hamza Khalifa Abbas from Al-Bataeh Club, followed in second place by Nasser Sabeel from Kalba Club, then Hamid Muhammad Al-Dhahouri from Al-Bataeh Club third. Al-Bataeh Club also took the lead in the teams.
In the Masters stage for over 30 years, Ahmed Abdullah Al Zaabi from Kalba Club topped the singles, Abdullah Suhail Al-Saridi from Al-Bataeh came second, and his club colleague Khaled Issa Al-Abdouli came third, while Al-Bataeh topped the team competitions.
In the Masters category over 40 years, Al Bataeh Club won first place through Ahmed Musabah Mubarak, Ahmed Salem Al Darmaki from Kalba Club won second place, and Othman Hassan Al Hosani from Al Bataeh Club won third place, while Al Bataeh Club topped the team competitions.
The winners were crowned by Adnan Al-Hashemi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Modern Pentathlon Union, Ahmed Al-Badi, member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, and Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al-Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Bataeh Club, in the presence of a number of club members.
Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, President of the Modern Pentathlon Federation, confirmed that the tournament at the technical and organizational levels is an important step in supporting and spreading the game at the club level, in light of the distinguished organization and great cooperation with Al Bataeh Club, which contributed to the success of the event, which witnessed wide participation from different ages.
Muhammad Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi expressed his happiness with the club’s support for championship competitions, especially this type of modern and community sports that aims to enhance physical activity and encourage youth and society to practice sports in a competitive spirit.
