Rabdan Academy obtains a certificate of accreditation of the European Corporation for Quality Management

Abu Dhabi, March 17 / WAM / The Rabdan Academy announced today that it has obtained a certificate of institutional excellence “Validated by EFQM”, from the European Quality Management Corporation, which makes it the first high education institution in the UAE to obtain this prestigious accreditation.
The academy’s obtaining this official recognition reflects its commitment to the highest standards of institutional excellence, by adopting the standards of the Excellence model for the European Corporation for Quality Management, and its compliance with continuous improvement and excellence in performance, as well as adopting a strategic approach to excellence.
His Excellency James Morse, head of the Rabdan Academy, said that the academy obtaining this prestigious certificate comes within the framework of its firm commitment to institutional excellence in all its operations, as well as the tireless efforts made to achieve its strategic aspirations as a leading educational, training and research institution, providing an integrated academic and professional environment for individuals and institutions, and providing added value to its students and partners.
He emphasized the academy’s keenness to provide an exceptional educational experience through the dual learning system, which brings together the academic and vocational, within an integrated interactive environment in the areas of safety, security, defense and preparedness for emergency situations and crisis management, according to the highest standards of quality and institutional excellence, in a way that enhances its reputation at the local and international levels, and makes it a reliable partner in its fields of work.
This achievement is enhanced by the academy’s efforts in supporting the national strategies of the state by preparing qualified cadres with the highest levels of efficiency and readiness to keep pace with future challenges.

The Rabdan Academy underwent a comprehensive evaluation according to the standards of the European Corporation for Quality Management, as the evaluation results showed the application of the Academy for the best international practices in management, innovation, operational quality and the development of operations constantly, and its focus on planning, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
The evaluation report showed the academy’s achievement of advanced levels in various fields, including institutional innovation, the development of partnerships, the improvement of operational processes and the promotion of institutional efficiency, and praised the academy’s ability to implement the approach to continuous improvement according to the “Radar” methodology, which enhances the sustainability of institutional performance and ensures the achievement of tangible results in the long run.
By obtaining a “Validated by EFQM” certificate, the Rabdan Academy is looking to continue its journey towards achieving the highest standards of institutional excellence, by enhancing the use of digital analyzes, developing performance indicators and expanding the scope of the application of international best practices.

This achievement comes a few days after the Rabden Academy achieved prominent progress within the “QS Stars” universities’ assessment, with the highest rating of the “5 -star” category in six main categories, which included education, facilities, employment, global participation, academic development and governance, leaving a new and qualitative achievement in four new categories, compared to the evaluation results for the year 2022.
