The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture offered the controls and requirements for the registration of authentic Arab horses through the “reconnaissance” platform, with the aim of preserving authentic Arab horse breeds through the creation of an advanced electronic database, which guarantees the preservation of their documents and controlling their registration operations according to accurate standards.
The Ministry has set several conditions for communicating birth and registering authentic Arab horses, the most prominent of which is the necessity of choosing a suitable name for horses that does not violate religious norms, and not exceeding 25 letters, with its association with the name of the link in the event of its availability.
The father and mother are required to be registered in horse genealogy records, and that the applicant must be the owner of the mother horse, or to provide a concession from the original owner.

Nama platform

The ministry affirmed that communicating childbirth should take place within 90 days from the date of birth, with the necessity of accuracy in determining the date of birth upon registration.
The registration request is submitted electronically via the “Nama – Aseel services” platform, attached to all the required documents, which include stallion and horse information, analogy certificates, and prove the registration of stallion and mother in the event of production by transferring embryos.

Arab horse breeds

The Ministry stated that the applicant is responsible for the validity of the data provided to the center, and he is committed to achieving all the requirements for horse registration.
These controls aim to enhance the preservation of authentic Arab horse breeds and organize the process of registering them according to the best approved practices, which contributes to their documentation and protection for future generations.
