Dubai University launches the third edition of "Entrepreneurship Competition 2025"

Dubai, March 17 / WAM / Dubai University announced the launch of the third edition of the “Dubai University of Business University Competition 2025”, an annual platform aimed at encouraging students, graduates and researchers to develop applicable innovative ideas that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
The competition will open the registration doors until April 7, as it will witness the organization of a series of workshops and guidelines to support the teams participating in developing their ideas and presentations.
The finals are scheduled to be held on April 21, coinciding with the “World Innovation Day”, in confirmation of the university’s continuous commitment to enhancing innovation and entrepreneurship at the local and international levels.
The competition targets university students and graduates during the past five years, and researchers who have innovative ideas that can be applied in the areas of sustainable development, and also provide participants with unique opportunities, including financing winning projects, embracing within business incubators, and communicating with industry leaders and investors.
His Excellency Dr. Issa Al -Bastaki, President of Dubai University, stressed that this competition represents more than just a competitive event, as it is a strategic platform to enhance entrepreneurship and innovation not only in Dubai, but at the state level as a whole.
He said that the competition contributes to enabling young people to transform their ideas into successful projects that support sustainable development, in line with the UAE’s vision to build a diverse and sustainable economy.
Engineer Mohamed Abboud, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the university, explained that the competition provides participants with opportunities for strategic guidance and guidance to support the development of their projects, as well as enhance communication with investors and decision -makers.
The competition focuses on four main tracks, including the future of health and safety, the future of food and soil, the future of work and learning, and open innovation, and the winners also give valuable financial prizes, advisory support, opportunities to develop products and services, and access to markets and customers through the university incubator, which is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid program to support startups.
