“We are shocked” .. a European demand to respect the ceasefire in Gaza
European Council President Antonio Costa called for an end to violence and respect for a ceasefire in Gaza.

He added that violence must stop and the conditions for the ceasefire agreement must be respected, and the necessity of resuming humanitarian aid immediately.

The aggression on Gaza
In the same context, France condemned the Israeli strikes on Gaza, calling for the immediate endowment of the hostilities that it saw is undermining efforts to release the hostages and “threaten the lives of the civilian population” in the Palestinian sector.
“All parties must return to respect the ceasefire completely and engage in good faith in negotiations to ensure its sustainability,” said all parties. He called on the Israeli authorities to ensure permanent protection for all civilians.
