The Council of Muslim Elders strongly condemns the Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip
Abu Dhabi, March 18 / WAM / The Council of Muslim Elders, headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh Al -Azhar, condemned the bombing of the Israeli forces to separate areas of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued today, the Council of Muslim Elders rejected its categorical rejection of all violations by the Israeli forces against the Palestinian people, calling for an urgent international move to implement the ceasefire agreement permanently, allowing the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid to innocent civilians, and starting the reconstruction according to the plan approved by the emergency meeting of the League of Arab States.
The Council of Muslim Elders affirmed its firm position on the need to work to find a just and permanent solution to the Palestinian issue, and to pass the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with its capital, Al -Quds Al -Sharif.
