“Ramadan Fujairah Councils” is a dialogue platform to enhance family cohesion and national identity

The Ramadan councils of the Fujairah Forum, organized by the Fujairah Social Cultural Association in its tenth session under the slogan “The Year of Society … Hand in Hand”, witnessed a wide interaction from different groups of society, as it represented a vital platform for discussion and exchange of opinions on family, societal and national issues, with the participation of a group of family and legal advisers and social researchers.
The Ramadan councils in Fujairah are a firm social tradition, which reflects the values of cohesion and communication between members of society, as they address vital issues that affect the stability of the family and society, where the Ramadan Fujairah Forum devoted this year its sessions to issues that enhance family cohesion and national identity, based on the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to be the current year.
Experts and advisers participating in the Ramadan councils in Fujairah emphasized that the continuation of these councils is not only to enhance social relations and consolidate familiarity between members of society, but also constitutes an effective tool for instilling national identity and enhancing a sense of responsibility among young generations. They stressed the importance of intensifying talk shows that encourage young people to engage in community work and active contribution to the development process. They stressed the need to involve them in the national initiatives to benefit from their energies in building a more stable and prosperous future.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Social Cultural Association, Dr. Khaled Al -Dhanhani, confirmed to “Emirates Today” that the Ramadan councils in Fujairah are a vital dialogue platform that contributes greatly to promoting family cohesion and deepening national values among members of society. He added that these councils are not limited to being discussion forums only, but are spaces for exchanging ideas on social and educational issues, which contributes to strengthening ties between families and in promoting joint understanding, which reflects positively on the stability of society in general.
Al -Dhahani pointed out that these councils contribute to the consolidation of national values between different generations, during which they emphasize the importance of adhering to the Emirati traditions that represent the cornerstone of building the personality of the individual and society, especially in light of the challenges the world faces today.
And that adhering to the values and principles enhances individuals ’sense of responsibility towards their homeland and deepens their connection to the land and leadership, which contributes to enhancing loyalty and belonging to the state, which is the basis for the cohesion and stability of society.
While a member of the Federal National Council, Sheikha Saeed Al -Kaabi, confirmed that the Ramadan councils in Fujairah represent a vital platform that contributes greatly to enhancing societal awareness and consolidating family cohesion in Emirati society. She pointed out that these councils play an important role in enhancing moral and national values, as it provides individuals an opportunity to discuss community issues objectively, which enhances their understanding of family issues and social challenges.
Al -Kaabi added that the family is the basic building block in building society, stressing that the role of a good wife in the stability of the family is one of the important topics that are discussed in these councils, in a way that contributes to strengthening family relations and reducing social problems, praising the participation of experts and consultants in these councils, as this interaction contributes to spreading a culture of dialogue and helps to provide practical solutions that contribute to improving family and community life.
While a participant in the session “An important role for young people in enhancing security and stability”, Dr. Jassim Mirza noted that strengthening national values between individuals is not limited to building a spirit of citizenship, but also extends to enhancing belonging to the homeland, which contributes to strengthening the social fabric and helps to enhance the cohesion of society. He explained that adhering to national values contributes to reducing the negative effects that may affect society, such as social disintegration or weak ties between individuals. He stressed that national values are an important basis for preserving the stability of society, as it contributes to building a generation capable of facing challenges and contributing to achieving sustainable development, while enhancing collective awareness of the importance of joint work to ensure a more stable and prosperous future.
