Cooperation between “Higher Education” and “Ras Al Khaimah for Knowledge” to support students enrollment in universities

Dubai, March 19 / WAM / The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced strategic cooperation with the Ras Al Khaimah Department for Knowledge with the aim of facilitating the enrollment of the emirate’s students in higher education institutions, and providing them with the support and academic guidance necessary to take studied educational decisions, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of the higher education system.
His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Al Saadi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Higher Education Operations Sector, stressed that this cooperation comes within the Ministry’s vision to enhance coordination with local educational authorities, and to provide a clear and integrated educational journey for students, which guarantees them a smooth transfer from secondary education to university, and to increase their awareness of the available academic options.
He pointed out that the ministry is committed to providing academic guidance to ensure students choose appropriate educational paths, in line with national priorities, and contributes to their preparation for the labor market and enhance the competitiveness of the national economy.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al -Naqbi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Department for Knowledge, affirmed the department’s commitment to cooperate with the Ministry to ensure that students of the Private Private Schools obtain the necessary support to take conscious educational decisions, explaining that this cooperation will enhance students’ opportunities to prepare for the requirements of the changing labor market.
The department will supervise the private schools in Ras Al Khaimah to ensure students registration in the registration system and the unified acceptance of the Ministry, starting from the eleventh grade, in addition to providing academic counseling and organizing preparatory workshops.
It will also coordinate with the National Service Authority to ensure male students meet the requirements of the national service, which contributes to facilitating the process of university application.
For its part, the Ministry will continue to coordinate efforts with higher education institutions to provide updated information about admission, supervise admission operations, and provide alternative educational options commensurate with the capabilities and skills of students, to ensure the continuity of their academic journey.
