Hamdan bin Mohammed and the Kuwaiti Minister of Defense review the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries
DUBAI, 29 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, met today with His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah, Minister of Defense of the sisterly State of Kuwait, who is on a working visit to the country during which he participates in the activities of the “UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever” week, which began today in all the emirates of the country.
His Highness welcomed His Excellency the Kuwaiti Minister of Defense, expressing his pride in the depth of the fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and the continuous development witnessed by bilateral relations at all levels under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.
His Highness added: “The UAE and Kuwait are brothers forever. We look forward with them with great confidence. Our dreams are common, and our will to create a bright tomorrow does not know the impossible. Kuwait and its people have always been and still are in the heart a source of nobility and a school of wisdom.”
His Highness said: “Celebrating the fraternal relations between the UAE and the sister State of Kuwait, based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, embodies a sincere message of love and appreciation from the leadership and people of the Emirates to the sister State of Kuwait, and confirms the depth of the historical partnership between the two countries, the unity of visions towards regional and international issues, and the shared commitment to strengthening the cohesion of the Gulf House.”
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure,
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, and His Excellency Saeed Al Eter, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Projects, Head of the UAE Government Media Office.
The meeting discussed the importance of cooperation paths and opportunities in all sectors and raising them to new levels in a way that serves the development priorities of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in addition to reviewing a number of issues of common interest and the most prominent developments on the regional and international arenas.
The two sides stressed the keenness of the leadership of the two countries to strengthen the historical fraternal relations between the UAE and the State of Kuwait and build new bridges of cooperation that contribute to supporting the sustainable development process in the two countries, and realizing the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards a more prosperous future.
