المملكة: “Meteorology” reveals to “Al -Youm” the expectations of Saudi weather until next Sunday

The National Meteorological Center revealed the expectations of Saudi weather until next Sunday.
Most regions of the Kingdom are witnessing continued thunderstorms of varying intensity between medium and abundant, until Sunday, March 23, according to the expectations of the National Meteorological Center.
The weather situation includes large areas of the Kingdom, including the eastern region, where cities such as Dammam, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al -Qatif, Al -Khobar, Abqaiq, Al -Ahsa, and many are expected to be affected by medium to heavy rains from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23, with expectations of increasing their intensity during separate periods.

The weather analyst at the National Meteorological Center, Aqil Al -Aqil, confirmed in statements to “Today” that the current weather will be accompanied by activity in the surface winds, which may reach a speed of 50 km/hour, which causes dust and dust and low horizontal visibility in some locations.
Al -Aqil added that the eastern region, specifically Hafar Al -Batin, the village of Olaya, and Al -Khafji, will witness moderate to heavy rains during the period from Thursday, March 20 to Saturday, March 22nd, with the possibility of intensifying its abundance on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22nd.
He also explained that the rest of the eastern region, such as Dammam, Khobar and Jubail, will continue until Sunday, March 23, with varying distress.

Makkah weather

Al -Aqil indicated that the expectations indicate medium to heavy rains in the Holy Capital, Al -Jumum, Al -Kamil, Bahra, and Khulais on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21, while its abundance intensifies on Thursday.
Jeddah and Rabigh will also witness similar rains on Thursday 20 March. He added that the situation will include Al -Laith and Al -Qunfudhah until Saturday, March 22nd, while extending to Taif, Maysan, Adham and Khurma until Sunday, March 23, with an increase in its intensity on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21.
Al -Aqil indicated that the Medina region, especially the cradle and the Valley of the branch, will witness moderate rains to heavy on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21, as these rains will be separate during the two days.

Al -Aqeel explained that the weather condition includes the Al -Baha region, where moderate to heavy rains in Al -Baha, Baljurashi, Al -Mandaq, Qalwa, Bani Hassan, Al -Qura, Al -Hijr, Ghamid Al -Zanad, and Al -Aqiq are expected from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23, with its abundance on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22nd.
Al -Aqeel pointed out that the areas of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Rijal Al -Ma’a, one of Rafidah, Sarat Ubaidah, Al -Harjah, Dhahran Al -South, and Al -Rabwah will be affected by moderate to heavy rains from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23.
The rain will also include Al -Namas, Tanumah, Balqarn, Al -Majardah, Bariq, and Mahayil during the same period, with an increase in its intensity on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd.

Weather in Jizan and Najran

Regarding the Jazan region, Al -Aqil stated that the regions of Al -Riter, Harb, Al -Dair, Al -Eidabi, Fifa, Al -Awdah, Al -Hareth, one of the theaters, Samtah, and Al -Tala, will witness moderate to heavy rains from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23.
It also extends to the trail, Bish, Sabya, Damad, Abu Arish, Jizan, and Farsan, from Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23.
Al -Aqeel pointed out that the expectations include the city of Najran and its provinces, Habona, Badr Al -South, Revolution, Yadma, Kabbash, and Doura, as moderate rains will fall to heavy from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23.

Riyadh weather

Al -Aqil explained that the Riyadh region will witness light to medium rains in Wadi Al -Dawasir, Al -Sulayb, and Al -Aflaj from Thursday, March 20 to Saturday, March 22nd.
He also added that the regions of Afif, Al -Dawadmi, Al -Qawia, Al -Zulfi, Shaqra, Al -Ghat, Marat, Al -Raqi, Al -Majma’ah, Thadiq, and Harimila will witness moderate to heavy rains during the same period, with their intensification on Thursday 20 March and Friday, March 21.

As for the capital, Riyadh and its suburbs, including Diriyah, Dhura, Al -Muzahmiyyah, Ramah, Al -Kharj, Al -Dalam, Al -Harb, and Hotat Bani Tamim, it will be affected by similar rains until Saturday, March 22nd.

With regard to the Qassim region, Al -Aqil explained that expectations indicate moderate to heavy rains on Buraidah, Unayzah, Riad Al -Farba, Al -Bukayriyah, Al -Mutanab, Ayoun Al -Jawa, Al -Badai’a, Al -Awar, Al -Nabhaniya, Al -Rass, Aqla Al -Saqour, Al -Dhafa’a, and Dhiya, from Thursday, March 20 to Saturday, March 22nd.
Al -Aqil stressed that the weather will be accompanied by several climate phenomena that include strong descending winds that may reach a speed of 50 km/h, exciting dust, dust and colds in some areas and flow of torrents, especially in sites that witness heavy degeneration and low horizontal visibility due to thunderstorms.
