Abu Dhabi, March 21 / WAM / Abu Dhabi hosted the first festival “Pioneers of the Joys” under the slogan “Sustainable Future” on the occasion of the Emirati Children’s Day, in which 25 young entrepreneurs with a license for the “Future Pioneers” from the Department of Economic Development participated, to be a distinctive platform to support innovation and entrepreneurship in children, under the patronage of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan.
The festival witnessed an effective participation of productive families and various segments of society, as it reflected the aspirations of Emirati children towards achieving independence and sustainability in their future projects, while the event provided children with an opportunity to present and sell their creative projects, which strengthened their self -confidence and inspired them towards more creativity. .
On the authority of Sheikha, Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Maryam Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, opened the festival hosted by the channel – Abu Dhabi in the presence of a number of prominent personalities alongside the participating children.
The organizers expressed their deep gratitude to the Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood for their fruitful cooperation, and the prominent role of the Department of Economic Development in facilitating children’s obtaining the “future pioneers” license.
