المملكة: A red warning in Mecca … heavy rains and thunderstorms until nine in the evening

Today, Monday, the National Meteorological Center issued a red warning of heavy rains in Makkah Al -Mukarramah.
The center said that the rain in Mecca is accompanied by very fast winds, a lack of horizontal visibility, colds, torrential flow and thunderstorms.
The center explained that the heavy rains will continue until nine in the evening.
Kingdom weather today
The National Meteorological Center expects in its report on the weather today, Monday, in the regions of the Kingdom, that the opportunity is still prepared for thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds and showers of cold on parts of the regions of Makkah Al -Mukarramah, Al -Baha, Asir, Jazan and Najran, extending to the southern parts of the eastern and Riyadh regions.
Also, the exciting surface winds of dust and dust limit the extent of horizontal visibility on parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Medina and Tabuk regions, especially the coastal ones.
While fog is not excluded during the early morning hours on parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

Red Sea

Surface wind: northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-45 km/hour in the northern and central parts, and northwest to western at a speed of 15-35 km/hour on the southern part.

The wave height: from one to two and a half meters.

Sea condition: average wave to wavy.

Arabian Gulf

Surface wind: Northwest at a speed of 25-50 km/h.

The wave height: from one and a half to 3 meters.

Sea condition: average wave to wavy.

Take care and be careful

The General Directorate of Civil Defense called for caution and caution, the need to remain in safe places and to stay away from the places of the torrential gathering and the valleys and not to swim in it, and to adhere to the instructions announced through various media and social media, due to the continued thunderstorms in most regions of the Kingdom, until next Friday.
She explained that the Makkah Al -Mukarramah region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that lead to the flow of torrents, colds and winds that are dusty and dust, to include Taif, Maysan, Adham and Al -Hosat, and light to medium to include the Holy Capital, Jumma, Kamel and Bahra.
The Directorate indicated that the areas of Al -Baha, Asir and Jazan will be affected by moderate to heavy, medium rain on the Najran area, and light on the city of Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah.
