Abdullah bin Zayed and the British Foreign Minister discuss by telephone bilateral relations between the two countries
Abu Dhabi, 26 January / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a phone call with Her Excellency Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development of the United Kingdom, discussed bilateral relations and the economic partnership between the two countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
His Highness and His Excellency Yvette Cooper reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, including developments in the Middle East region and the importance of supporting efforts aimed at establishing peace and achieving security and stability at the regional and global levels.
During the call, the two sides touched on the tripartite talks hosted by the UAE and bringing together Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Abu Dhabi, and their importance in finding political solutions to the crisis and enhancing global peace and security.
