ABU DHABI, 26 JANUARY / WAM / The competitions for the 13th edition of the President’s Cup for Falconry continued today on its sixteenth day, organized by the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, in Al Falah Square, with the conclusion of the rounds of the local general category competitions.
The “Al-Juhi” falcon, owned by Saeed Musabah Muhammad Al-Shadi, topped the first half of the heat category – chick, and the second place was won by the “Dabous” falcon, owned by Salem Saif Obaid bin Salij Al-Ketbi, and the “H26” falcon, owned by Saeed Obaid Issa bin Khanifar, came third.
The second-half competitions in the heat category – Gernas resulted in the falcon “H44”, owned by Saeed Obaid Issa bin Khanifar, winning first place. The falcon “H99”, also owned by Saeed Obaid Issa bin Khanifar, came second, and third was the falcon “Production”, owned by Ahmed Khalaf Baljafla Al Mansouri.
The Falcon “S30” of the Nad Al Sheba team dominated the title in the third round, in the Shaheen-Farkh category, and the Falcon “SH34” came second, owned by Nawaf Mohammed Abdullah Al Matroushi, and third was the Falcon “Marmarin”, owned by Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Balushi.
The falcon “1”, owned by Mohammed Saeed Abdullah Al Mansouri, won the fourth round title in the Shaheen-Jernas category, followed by the falcon “S27”, for the RPJ team, and third was the falcon “Uranim”, owned by Saeed Rashid Mubarak bin Suroud Al Mansouri.
The fifth round of the heat category – local production – chick, witnessed the victory of the falcon “Lahab”, by Hamad Jumaa Omair Saeed Al Falasi, in first place, and the falcon “H33”, by Muhammad Mubarak Muhammad Al-Hajri, came second, and the falcon “TX” came third, for the Dubai team.
The championship competitions will conclude tomorrow, Tuesday, with the holding of the President’s Cup round competitions, open to the public and public owners, for all categories, chicks and gernas, at Al Falah Square in Abu Dhabi.
