Dry global ponds wins a contract to renew a ship "Popab Evoranian"

Dubai, March 24/ WAM/ The International Dry Pinks Company, affiliated with the Dubai Ports Group “DPDDDDD”, announced today that it has obtained a contract to renew and extend the operating life of the storage and emptying ship of floating production “Bapab Evoranian”, by the company “Moddic Management Service BTE Limited”, which strengthens its place worldwide in the field of complex marine asset renewal.
The project operations are scheduled to start in May 2025 and last for eight months, as it will include large -scale structural improvements on the ship, including the renewal of 1,000 tons of steel, 250 thousand square meters of tanks, and the installation of 11,500 meters of new tubes.
The scope of work also includes improving staff accommodation and integrating advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency and dependence of the ship.
Upon completion of the project, the ship will be extended for an additional 15 years, ensuring the continuity of energy production operations in the West Africa.
In the field of ship regeneration, the extension and conversion of their operating life, the global dry basins have completed more than 50 similar projects, including more than 30 updates of the vessels of storing and emptying floating production.
The production capacity of the “Popab Evoranian” ship is 70 thousand barrels of oil per day, and 75 million cubic feet of natural gas, and it can pump 100 thousand barrels of water per day and store up to two million barrels of crude oil.
The ship is currently operating in the Popap oil field, which is 25 km from the Côte d’Ivoire coast, and the ship will be transferred to the World Dry Pinks facility in Dubai to carry out eight -month renewal work.
The signing ceremony of the contract was held at the headquarters of the International Dry Pinks Company, in the presence of the captain, Dr. Rado Antolovich, CEO of the company, and Gary Kennedy, President of “Moddic Management Service BTE Limited”.
The captain, Dr. Rado Antolovich, said that the agreement with “Moddic” confirms the experience of the Global Dry Pinks Company in implementing renewal projects and extension of the operational age of the floating storage and discharge ships.
For his part, Gary Kennedy said that this contract was granted to the Global Dry Pinks Company, after a careful selection process to find the perfect partner in this decisive project, as the wide experience enjoyed by the Dry Pinks Company in updating the floating storage and unloading ships, and its strict commitment to quality and safety standards, made it the ideal choice.
