The application of the new traffic law next Saturday and the executive regulations within 6 months

The Ministry of Interior announced the start of the implementation of the new traffic and traffic law next Saturday (29) March, as it enters into force, including fundamental amendments to promote traffic safety.
The Ministry of Interior stated through a post on its platforms on social media that it will issue the executive regulations of the law within six months from the date of its entry into force, to ensure the optimal application of the provisions of the law.
Last year, the UAE government issued a decree of a federal law No. (14) of 2024 regarding the regulation of traffic and traffic, and included a set of amendments, most notably the lowering the age of obtaining a driver’s license, as it stipulated that the normal person (17) seventeen years of age reached his age, and that he passes the medical examination required by the licensing authority successfully or submits an accredited report in accordance with what is determined by the executive regulations of this decree by law, and to pass the driving test successful According to what is determined by the executive regulations for this decree by a law, the executive regulations of this decree are determined by the Law of Driving Services, the duration of each type, conditions, controls, age groups, and procedures necessary to issue each type of driving licenses.
The law emphasized the punishment for the random transit of roads, as it prohibited the parking of pedestrians or users of personal transportation in the road river or crossing the road to the road except through the places designated for that, and in all cases the pedestrians may not cross the roads that exceed the speed prescribed for them over (80) eighty kilometers per hour, and the infantry bears any civil or criminal responsibility that results in non -commitment to that.
He also put the penalty for causing the death of a person wrongly as a result of the use of a vehicle on the road, as it stipulates that he is punished with imprisonment and a fine of no less than 50 thousand dirhams, or one of these two penalties, everyone who caused his mistake in the death of a person as a result of using a vehicle on the road, and the punishment is imprisonment for a period of no less than a year and a fine of no less than 100 thousand dirhams, or one of these two penalties, if the act occurred in any of the following cases:
1. If the verb occurred due to the transcendence of the red light signal.
2. Driving vehicles under the influence of alcoholic drinks, narcotic substances, or mental effects and the like.
3. Driving the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license or was canceled.
4. Driving the vehicle in the valley during the flow of torrents in it.
