The death toll from the victims of the forest fires in South Korea to 24 dead

South Korean officials reported today, Wednesday, that the wind fires fuel, which were among the worst fires in South Korea ever, swept the southern regions of the country, killing 24 people, destroying more than 200 buildings and forcing 27,000 people to evacuate.
The death toll included a pilot who died after a helicopter crashed during the efforts to contain forest fires in the town of Owaisong in the southeast of the country, and it is one of the most affected areas. There was no other members on the plane on board.

While the National Fire Commission said that at least 26 people were injured in varying degrees.
