Dubai International Airport is preparing to receive 3.6 million visitors during the Eid al -Fitr holiday

Dubai, March 26 / WAM / Dubai International Airport is preparing for an exceptional holiday season with expectations to receive more than 3.6 million passengers during the peak of travel during the Eid period from March 26 to April 7, where it is expected that Saturday, April 5, will be the most crowded during this period with the reception of 309 thousand guests.
The total number of passengers per day, according to the expectations of Dubai airports, is 276,000 on average, with estimates of the largest rise in the first week of April.
Expectations also indicate that the number of departure flights during the Eid week increased by 19% compared to the average weekly flight sizes during the past month, which reflects a significant season.
With the start of the spring school holiday, the demand remains strong on the main markets for the purposes of visiting friends and relatives, including India, Pakistan and the United Kingdom, as well as a noticeable increase in entertainment travel, and this includes an increase in travel movement to Sri Lanka, Turkey and Italy.
Dubai airports called on travelers to use the recently launched DXB Express Maps, a smart tool that provides immediate mobility in all airport buildings.
By wiping the fast response icon shown on the information screen of any journey located their gate, browsing a full set of restaurants and shops or finding nearby facilities easily.
Dubai airports are also preparing to provide reinforced services to people of determination through clear and clearly defined paths, as well as providing support to guests who wear a sunflower necklace through trained employees who wear sunflower pins, and a travel hall for people with special needs in Building No. 2.
Dubai airports confirmed that they are working in cooperation with airlines, services partners, commercial partners and government agencies to ensure the flow of guests’ flow through all the contact points throughout the holiday period.
