Oil prices declined today, but they are heading to achieve gains for the third week. Brent crude futures fell 31 cents, or 0.4% to $ 73.72 by 0742 GMT, to drop for the first time after daily gains over seven consecutive sessions.
US intermediary futures fell 33 cents, or 0.5% to $ 69.59 a barrel.
