Russian forces are preparing to launch a new military attack in the coming weeks with the aim of strengthening pressure on Ukraine and strengthening the Kremlin’s position in the ceasefire talks, according to military analysts and officials in the Ukrainian government.
Ukrainian officials believe that this step may give Russian President Vladimir Putin an additional reason to postpone any negotiations to stop the fighting, in an effort to extract more lands, stressing that Moscow is not serious in ending the war through dialogue.
As the fighting season approaches in the spring, the Kremlin plans a multi -axis attack along the one thousand kilometers long, according to estimates of analysts and military leaders.

According to intelligence reports, Ukrainian President Voludimir Zellinski said that Russia is preparing to launch new attacks in the areas of Sumi, Karkiv and Zaborigia.
“They are developing negotiations and trying to dump the United States in endless talks on false conditions, just to gain time and then strive to occupy more lands, Putin wants to negotiate from a strength site,” Zellinski said, during his visit to Paris on Thursday.
